As I take you for granted
You always manage to be my side

As I forget that each moment is yours spent
I must be reminded

Sometimes I wish I had more of my own
Than having to spend it your way

Most times I wish that you’d let me
Live it my way

I’d like to ask you if you have a separate plan
Because I don’t know which way you’re going

You have your ways and they do change
As time goes by I find out

Many years down today
I wonder if you’ll stop being unpredictable
